Dilip Padgaonkar, who heads the group of Centre's interlocutors on Jammu and Kashmir, asked students to prepare a roadmap for azaadi (freedom) by the time they return for a second visit to the Valley.
Militants in Jammu and Kashmir have expressed their willingness to present a "peace plan" during their meeting with the group of interlocutors appointed by the Centre, a move seen as "something important" by Dilip Padgaonkar, who led the three-member team.
The former finance minister also said the centre should find out the areas in Jammu and Kashmir where autonomy can be given.
Security bunkers manned by the central armed paramilitary forces are being set up in many areas of Srinagar where these were removed between 2011 and 2014 following the overall improvement in the security situation across Kashmir.
Citing the neighbouring country's support to terrorism as the reason behind the opposition, the party warned that the function will be disrupted if not cancelled.
